Meet Elio Schmutz - our member of the month in March!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
Hi, my name is Elio and I’m from a little village from Switzerland which is located next to the „Röstigraben“ - the border between the french and german speaking part of Switzerland.
I love spending time with my little family, climbing, discovering new places while traveling, playing cards and poker.

What made you come to Berlin?
My girlfriend is from Germany. After more than four years living together in Switzerland, we decided to move back to Germany. So after the birth of our little daughter last year, we came to Berlin.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I’m a web application developer, realizing projects especially with the Plone CMS (https://plone.org/) as well as contributing to the Plone Core.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
I'm a coworker since the end of the last year. You’ll meet me almost every day during the week at the Office-Club.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
My benefit is to have a quite place outside of my home with fast internet, excellent coffee and tea.
I get all this at Office Club including a very friendly staff.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I can help if you’re stuck somewhere in the middle of Python, Plone and JavaScript.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Drinking a coffee at „Bonanza Coffee Heroes“, slurp a pho soup at „Onkel Ho“ and enjoying a cake at „Café Fleury“.
