Meet Jens - our member of the month in August!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Jens Friedrich and I come from Saarbrücken in south-west Germany.

What made you come to Berlin?
Work! As a sub-project manager, I built up a new service centre for Mercedes-Benz Bank.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I am Director Operations at Bertelsmann Finance Solutions and responsible for the operative locations in Berlin, Potsdam, Münster, Katowice and Manila. Currently, there are about 750 employees working at these locations. There, we support processes for major customers in the energy industry, banks and e-com accounting, dunning and collections.
In the near future we will try to help our customers through the crisis by providing technical solutions and massively increase our staff.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
Approximately 2.5 years.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
I use Office Club as my home office and appreciate the relaxed working atmosphere.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I could assist on all questions regarding customer service, accounting and dunning. I might also support regarding outsourcing.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
I like Tempelhofer Feld, the botanical garden in Pankow and the many lakes in and around Berlin.
