Meet Johannes - our member of the month in June!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Johannes, I am 28 years old and grew up in Denmark, just outside of Copenhagen.

What made you come to Berlin?
I moved to Berlin about seven years ago, initially for an Erasmus semester. Like many before me, I fell in love with the city and decided to stick around.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I was previously building a start-up with a team in Copenhagen, which was acquired about a year ago. I now work for the acquirer, a multinational brokerage. I work as a technical product manager focusing primarily on R&D.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
I have been at Office Club for about 4 months.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
The freedom to work from a nice office environment in Berlin on my own schedule, when I am not traveling for work.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
Finance, trading, economics, and blockchain technology/cryptocurrency.

Do you have favorite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Berlin is full of great restaurants and places to go out. My favorite sushi bar is Enzo on Marienburgerstr. not far from the office. The Toro (tuna-belly) is amongst the best sushi I have had outside of Japan. Call there first to ask for what fish they have for the day as the fish is freshly delivered from the Parisian of Japanese fishing auctions.
