Meet Nuno - our member of the month in February!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
Hey! My name is Nuno Pato. I am a 31 years old Portuguese living in Berlin for almost 3 years now. I was born and raised in Vila Franca do Campo - a town and municipality in the southern part of the island of São Miguel in the Portuguese autonomous region of the Azores. Check it out, it's beautiful - (the viewpoint in the first picture is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen/been)

What made you come to Berlin?
I was living in Lisbon for a few years when I decided it was time for something new. Before moving to Berlin I had the opportunity to come here for a weekend and immediately felt what makes this place so special - Berlin is always changing but somehow it has managed to hang on to its essence.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I work for Codeship as a senior software engineer on the infrastructure/platform team. Codeship is a hosted continuous delivery service that focuses on speed, reliability and simplicity. We build tools for other developers. My day to day work involves everything around improving our current build infrastructure - adding new features, tuning it or fixing bugs.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
I've been coworking here since May 2016. Codeship's main office is in Boston but we have a very distributed team. At the moment, we are just 2 elements in Berlin.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
Having a place where I can just arrive, plug in my laptop and start being productive is a big plus. I couldn't work at home alone all the time. Also, it's so interesting that there's people here from all over the world with so different interests.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
Everything software related, techno (oh yeah!), books and TV shows :)

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
My favourite bars in Berlin are Marietta and Wohnzimmer.
