Meet the merconic team - our members of the month in August!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
We are merconic: a marketing agency with students as our main target group. merconic was born and raised in Berlin, Baby :-)

What made you come to Berlin?
The major part of our team was born in the south of Germany and moved to Berlin because of great job oppurtunities, party and love! But we also have a rare species in our team: A real born "Berliner"!

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
We negotiate the best deals and offers for students in germany and publish them on our student websites allmaxx.de and UNIMALL.de. In addition we coordinate and plan offline marketing campaigns for our partners, for example the legendary LEVIS Student Shopping nights.

To sum it up: on the one hand we help students to save some money, on the other hand we raise our client's reputation. WIN WIN for everyone.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
We have been working at Office Club for 3 months now. Since our old office got too small because of the new startup packator.com, the four of us needed to be relocated.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
A coworking space like Office Club creates a great working atmosphere. Everyone is busy and concentrated which is contagious in a positive manner. It is comparable to an university library. In addition seeing new faces every day makes work less monotonous. For the same reason, we also like and appreciate the flexible choice of working desks.

By the way: Air conditioning should be on top of your agenda for next summer :) When the temperatures rise, it can get a little hot inside.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Since we are four different people, we don't have THIS ONE FAVORITE SPOT here in Berlin. Hence we collected everyone's favorite spot:

- The green area around the lake Weißensee, which is still an insider tip
- Being at home in bed - with or without somebody else ;)
- Kater Blau if you want to party hard!
- Café am Neuen See which is reminiscient of the beautiful biergarten in Munich
