Meet Stella - our member of the month in July!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Stella Weweler and I am a native Berliner. I live in the quiet and green north of the city but love working in busy Prenzlauer Berg.

What made you come to Berlin?

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
I work as an expert for species protection at the German Wildlife Foundation, a non-profit organization with the aim of protecting our native wild animals and their habitats. Together with the city of Berlin, we are running a large wild bee project in which we develop the public green spaces in a more pollinator-friendly way and also provide environmental education. Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
Together with my colleague Tom Bluth I started working at Office Club last April.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
I think Office Club offers the perfect combination of a calm, concentrated work environment and warm, friendly encounters with the other coworkers and the Office Club team.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I am happy to give inspiration on how you can promote wild bees and other pollinators in your garden or on your balcony and what other options are available to promote these important insects in the city. Feel free to approach me!

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
On a weekend you should definitely check out the very nice suburbs of Berlin. On a walk through the Tegeler Fließ you can switch off wonderfully and enjoy the beautiful nature. I can also highly recommend a bike tour on the Berlin Mauerweg which lets you discover diverse areas of the city.
