Meet Timothy McElroy of HouseMyDog - our member of the month in March!

Introduction round: Who are you and where are you from?
I'm Timothy McElroy. I am a co-founder of HouseMyDog and I am from Dublin, Ireland.

What made you come to Berlin?
I came here in 2017 to build the HouseMyDog Berlin office and expand our business in Germany.

What exactly do you do? What's in the pipeline for the near future?
HouseMyDog is an online platform that enables dog owners to find and book local, trusted dog walkers and sitters across 70 cities in over 8 European countries. Our objective is to become the largest and most trusted platform for booking pet services in Europe.

Since when do you cowork at Office Club Berlin Prenzlauer Berg?
I first joined Office Club in September 2017.

What is the benefit of using a coworking space for you?
Selecting a coworking space allowed us to immediately launch our HouseMyDog Berlin office without having to worry about finding space, leases, utilities etc and the flexibility to scale our office as needed.

Which questions / problems could you help your coworking neighbour with?
I would be happy to share the lessons we've learned in Germany as a foreign company as well as what has worked for us growing the business here.

Do you have favourite spots in Berlin? Something to recommend / consider especially for people coming here?
Prater beer garden is a great place to meet friends and get a Schnitzel after work, it's also close to Office Club which is handy.
